I've been away for quite some time, settling into my new home and preparing for a new baby! I have not lost my passion for vintage or closed down my shop, I've just taken some time to adjust to a new lifestyle. This is a gorgeous and luxurious crochet knit fringe shawl that I would buy in a second... except that I bought a pair of amazing black leather boots from her instead! This says warm, cozy and completely stylish!

Dean & Britta

I have been a long time fan and admirer! If you don't already know this amazing band, check them out. Dean Wareham was the leader of Galaxie 500 and Luna (two amazing bands!) Dean and former Luna bandmate Britta Phillips have scored films such as The Squid & The Whale by Noah Baumbach and formed their own record label Double Feature Records. This is one of my favourite covers of ALL TIME.

Basia Bulat with Symphony Nova Scotia

Taking stage with the renowned Symphony Nova Scotia, apart of Halifax Pop Explosion, Basia once again held me captivated. Her ease on stage, her extraordinary voice and her sheer presence won the hearts of the audience and everyone on stage.

Playing songs from Oh my Darling and her sophomore release Heart of My Own, Basia shone on stage. All arrangements were written by Owen Pallet, who has worked with Stars, Pet Shop Boys and Arcade Fire.
